Professional Biography
In 2000, I graduated with my elementary and special education degrees from Washington State University (Go Cougs!). After graduation, I student taught at Tumwater Hill Elementary. I then subbed in Tumwater and also had a long term subbing job in Chehalis in a Lifeskills program. In 2004, I received my Master's degree in the creative arts from Lesley University. I have taught at Peter G. Schmidt since the fall of 2001. I have been a special education teacher for grades K-6 in various combinations through the years, as well as a Title I math and reading teacher for ten years. Every single year has been different!
