Welcome to P.G.S. Counselor Page

Hi, Eagle families! I’m Sidney Reid, the K-2 school counselor at Peter G. Schmidt Elementary. I have a master’s degree in education and a counseling certificate. I’m here to help students build friendships, manage feelings, and develop skills to succeed at school.
Growing up, I moved often and attended many different schools across the Pacific Northwest and Canada. Those experiences help me understand how important it is for students to feel welcome, connected, and supported. My goal is for every student to know they have someone at school they can turn to.
Family is at the center of my life. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Marty, and our two sons, Luke and Jake. You’ll often find me cheering at their sporting events, enjoying time at our cabin, or planning our next travel adventure.
I look forward to partnering with you to help your child grow and practice our school values: Safe, Respectful, Responsible, and Kind. Please reach out with questions or concerns, or simply to introduce yourself!

Hi PGS Families! I'm Liz Robinson. I am the 3rd-5th grade school counselor Peter G. Schmidt Elementary. I have a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and a School Counselor certification. I have worked in schools for the past 10 years! It is important to me to make sure your child feels seen, heard, and supported every single day. School can be a big adventure with lots of ups and downs, and our students do not have to navigate it alone. Whether your student is celebrating a big win, feeling stressed, or just needs a quiet place to take a break, my door is always open.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, my daughter, and my son. We stay busy attending my kids’ events and activities. We also enjoy spending time hiking, camping, gardening, and planning adventures.
I look forward to collaborating with you to help your child feel successful at school. Please reach out with questions or concerns.
